Krishnan is a Partner with the Tax & Regulatory practice working out of the Chennai office. He has over 25 years of experience, initially in Mumbai and later in Chennai.
He has worked on audit, direct, indirect & international tax engagements and has been specialising in transfer pricing since the regulations were introduced in India in 2001-02. He has been advising clients on various transfer pricing issues, tax planning and optimisation opportunities.
Prior to joining BDO, he has worked with one of the larger accounting firms. He has advised MNC clients on a variety of transfer pricing aspects including Advance Pricing Agreements (APA), Mutual Agreement Procedure (MAP), Planning, Audit Defense and Litigation.
His experience cuts across various industry sectors including Technology, Manufacturing, Consumer Goods and Pharmaceuticals. Krishnan is a regular speaker in seminars organised by ICAI, industry associations, chambers of commerce and professional bodies. He has contributed to articles to both national and international journals and has also co-authored books on transfer pricing namely “Transfer Pricing Law and practice in India.
