Prior to joining BDO in India, he worked as a revenue official in the Customs & Central Excise department for more than 22 years. He has worked in one of the premier investigation agencies of the country, The Directorate General of Central Excise Intelligence (DGCEI, now renamed as DGGI). He took premature retirement 7 years back and joined a Big Four consulting firm.
