Kartik is a Partner with the indirect tax practice. He operates out of Mumbai office and has experience of over 19 years in Indirect Tax Consulting, working across a range of industries in all Indirect Taxes (i.e., GST, Excise, Service Tax, VAT, customs, etc.) and Foreign Trade Policy
Prior to joining BDO, he has worked with larger consultancy for 14 years. He has been actively involved in assisting the clients in disputes and investigations by the indirect tax authorities, including appearing before various authorities to represent the clients and has also been involved in making representations before the GST Council, Ministries and the Tax Authorities for issues relating to the clients
He has undertaken indirect tax advisory and compliance services across various industries including Pharma, FMCG, Media & Entertainment, Telecom, Financial services, Aviation, Aerospace & Defense, Manufacturing, etc.
He has contributed articles to Indian business newspapers and professional magazines. He has also been a speaker for tax topics at multiple forums. He was nominated as a member in the GST and Indirect Taxes committee of WIRC of ICAI for 2021-22
