Prior to joining BDO in India, Niranjan was associated with larger accounting firms, handling several engagements in India and internationally across diverse industry verticals.
He is experienced in advising companies on Structuring Inward Investment, appropriate forms of entity and holding company jurisdictions for setting up Indian business activities. Exposure to pre-acquisition diligence for various Domestic and Cross Border Mergers, Demergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures, Joint Ventures and select corporate restructuring engagements brings a variety of knowledge, allowing for the delivery of a value-added services to clients.
He has extensive experience in corporate tax litigation including handling of assessments and appeals and advising clients on these matters. He has also written articles for eminent journals and business dailies.
