Cover story on The RCEP Agreement negotiations

In order to broaden and increase regional participation in economic development, leaders of 16 countries in the Asia-Pacific region established the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP). The RCEP aims to strengthen economic linkages and enhance trade & investment related activities as well as to help minimise the development gap among the participating nations. With the RCEP negotiations coming in place, it would also facilitate India’s MSME’s to integrate into the regional value and supply chains, encourage greater investments and technology into India, while also provide market access to India’s goods and services.
