Sabka Vishwas - Legacy Dispute Resolution Scheme

With an aim to reduce the burden on the tax system, the Finance Bill 2019 introduced the Sabka Vishwas (Legacy Dispute Resolution Scheme) also known as Amnesty Scheme. The scheme will cover unconcluded disputes pertaining to central excise tax and service tax and provide relief by waiving 40% to 70% of tax dues pending at various stages of enquiry or litigation. It is expected to be bring relief to tax administrators as well as Companies.
